College Humor and "Hello My Name Is"

So yesterday was my birthday.  And it may have been the best birthday I could have asked for.

But let me back up.

My roommate Rachel and I absolutely LOVE the webseries on College Humor called "Hello My Name Is" which is an improv show with two actors, one of whom gets dressed up in ridiculous make-up, gets one minute to create a character and then gets interviewed by the other actor as that character.  We quote the show all the time and think the two actors on it are brilliant.  Rachel and I always joke around that we will be quoting it on the subway and Josh (one of the actors) will walk on and hear us.

So...

Rachel is on the subway last week and who walks on, but Josh from "Hello My Name Is."  Of course Rachel talks to him and comes to find that they are filming an episode of the show on Tuesday the 22nd and need actors.  He asks her to forward her information along with mine and my other roommates and he will get us on the show.  And he did!

So yesterday for my birthday I got to be on set all day for one of my favorite webseries working with some wonderful actors and crew. 

And that, dear friends, is why my birthday yesterday was one of the best birthdays I have ever had.
